My forever favourite movie about hard work and persistence is this marvelous movie, Kiseki no Ringo. This is a must-watch movie for someone who is struggling toward their dream. I and my students watched this movie in our BK session when we talked about future and vision.
This heart-warming movie tells about Akinori, a peculiar person who loves to experiment and loves his wife a lot. He and his wife managed an apple orchard in their hometown. This story started when Akinori found out that his wife had an allergic reaction to pesticides.
This whole story is about Akinori’s love language by growing apples without chemical pesticide. He tried more than thousand ways to make natural pesticide. Failed, tried, failed, tried, failed, tried. Akinori needs around 9 years of blood and tears to fulfill his dream. Enormous amount of effort will surely pay off. FYI, this movie is based on a true story!
The love from wife, three daughters, and father-in-laws become Akinori’s power. The warm of family’s support is surely a powerful reasons to keep going. Without their unchanging trust and belief, Akinori can’t go that far.
