My Time for You

By time goes by and I become older, I change my perspective toward valuable and meaningful lifestyles. Study had always become my priority which came after contributions I gave for others. But, those priorities broke my self a part as societies made them as achievement and benchmark of success. Experience and life teach me that I should dig deeper to understand what and why I live.

So, now, what value the most for my self is my time for my significant people and things that I fighting for.

Inna ma’al ‘usri yusron

Everybody knows that life is up in the air. We don’t know what will coming through. But, even though that’s the fact, we always want certainty. Taking control, hoping something going work as we want.

As the theme for this week, the fear I have to face on now is uncertainty. As I got new roles as wife and board in new ship with a new captain, my husband, life make me face them with new perspective. So much things change, so much challenges. I need to go deep water and choose, sink or swim!

Gathering Guts

One afternoon, my little sister suddenly call me. Out of nowhere, she (they – please check their blog too; Intan and Anisah) asked me to make a writing challenge to help them practicing their writing skills. So, this is it. My first post for Dzulhijjah’s Gratitude Writing Challenge.

Dzulhijjah? Yes, you read it right. This two hijr years, we face a lot of things. We couldn’t having Ramadhan, ‘Id Fithr, and ‘Id Adh in usual way. But there are a lot of this to be grateful of. By the end of this hijr year, I think we should put more effort to put syukr in every aspects of our life. So, here we are!

For this one semester, pandemic and study stress me out a lot! My courage and grit, gradually, faded away and lost. I feel strange and unfamiliar with my own self. Becoming timid, coward, fragile.

I choose to step away and read this amazing book, Guru Aini. Another masterpiece from Andrea Hirata. In my opinion, Guru Aini has similar vibes with Laskar Pelangi. Guru Aini deserves the same respect!

Merasa terhormatlah mendapat soal yang sulit, karena soal yang sulit akan mengeluarkan yang terbaik dari kita. Lalu tempur! Tempur semua kesulitan itu! Jangan mundur! Jangan sedikit pun mundur!
